Wollombi Wines

Wollombi Wines is a family owned and operated boutique vineyard, adjoining the historic village of Wollombi in the NSW Hunter Valley, gateway to Wine Country.

The vineyard is bordered by the beautiful Wollombi Brook, and is open seven days a week including public holidays for cellar door tastings. Why not visit the winery, enjoy a picnic and relax in beautiful surroundings.

Wollombi Wines produce a range of wines, including Semillon, Rose, Shiraz and Sparkling wines. The first vines were planted by the Hoft family in 1994. At harvest the fruit is selectively handpicked with one intent - the best possible quality. The vineyard receives little or no watering (none since 2004) and so yields are low, usually around 2 tonnes per acre. No insecticides are used by Wollombi Wines.

We also our own range of home-made produce including; Chilli Lime Sambal, Tomato Chutney, Shiraz Balsamic Reduction, Green Chilli Gumbo, and Fresh Dukka.

Wollombi Wines is one of the vineyards taking part in Sculpture in the Vineyards along the Wollombi Valley Wine Trail. “Enjoy fine wines and a wander through some of the most picturesque countryside in NSW while feasting your eyes on this years fabulous array of sculpture. Sculpture in the Vineyards in the Hunter Valley features large-scale outdoor and site-specific works. SINV provides artists with a rare opportunity to showcase their work, engaging visitors over a three month exhibition period by inviting them to enjoy contemporary sculpture amidst boutique vineyards and an historic town, rich in indigenous and colonial heritage.”
